As a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, Sally Spencer is fascinated by gemstones and enjoys sharing her passion for them with others. Join Sally on our introduction to gemstones class and learn through her infectious enthusiasm for the subject.

On this course we take a look at some of the properties of gemstones while learning how gemmologists use these to help identify stones. We introduce students to some of the tools a gemmologist uses when testing stones with practical exercises throughout the day. This class includes a section specifically focused on diamonds.
