What are Improver Courses?

Improver courses are a mixture of short courses and term time classes for students who have completed a number of silver projects and know how to solder, anneal and use a piercing saw. We run different levels of Improver classes, please see individual course information.

How many students in a class?

Our workshop has capacity for 10 students. However, the number of students per class will depend on the course.

Will you run this course again?

We try to run popular courses once a term.

Is there an age restriction on courses?

All our course are for over 16’s unless otherwise stated in the course information.

Is the workshop wheelchair friendly?

Unfortunately our workshop is on the 1st floor only accessible via a staircase.

Do I need to bring my own tools?

We have a very well equipped workshop, you do not need to bring anything unless you have your own tools you prefer to use.
