This is the second in a series of stone setting classes at Kingham Jewellery School. This class will move onto more complex settings. A great class if you have completed Stone Setting Class level 1 or have made mounts previously.

This class will look at rub over setting for faceted stones. We will cover making mounts for round, oval, square, pear and trillion stones.

We will also look at how this versatile setting can be adapted to add individuality to your designs.

Materials

Sundries such as solder and saw blades are included in the course fees. Metals, findings and a variety of stones are available for purchase at the school or feel free to bring your own to work with.

Suitable for intermediate levels students

Lunch

We take half an hour for lunch around 1pm, packed lunches are advised and can be eaten at the studio. Tea and coffee provided throughout the day.
