Silver Jewellery Daytime Classes

This course is for students with a good level of competency who have experience of jewellery making and the confidence to work on self directed projects. Tutor and teaching assistant are on-hand to advise and demonstrate advanced techniques.

This course is particularly useful if you’re looking to develop your own designs, need access to workshop facilities and require guidance on how to realise your ideas.

Prior to starting the course it’s worth having an idea for a project you wish to work on. Tutors are available to offer guidance through the design and construction process.

If you would prefer to work on a set project and follow step by step demonstrations our project based courses may be more suitable.

Sundries such as solder and saw blades are included in the course fees. Metals, findings and a variety of stones are available for purchase at the school or feel free to bring your own to work with.

If a student wishes to work in gold they must purchase their own gold & gold solder. We do not carry gold at the workshop, however we can order gold in advance of a term if prearranged with staff.
