Our Beginner Jewellery Course – 2 Day Silver & Stone Setting is the perfect hands-on introduction for anyone curious about creating beautiful, stone-set jewellery from scratch. Over two days you’ll learn to make two beautiful silver pieces using both faceted and cabochon stones.
With expert guidance, you’ll explore essential tools, techniques, and materials while building your confidence at the bench. You’ll leave the course with two professionally finished pieces — and the skills to keep creating.
Day 1 – Tube Set Ring: Craft your own silver ring and set a faceted stone using a classic tube setting technique.
Day 2 – Cabochon Pendant: Create a pendant featuring a cabochon stone in a traditional rub-over setting.
On completion of this course you should have a solid foundation in jewellery making techniques and learn how to use all the necessary tools to enable you to create beautiful jewellery pieces from home. Plus, you’ll have the joy of taking home all the unique and handcrafted jewellery pieces you’ve created during the course!
